Full balance should be sent no later than 30 days before tour date.

AIR TICKETS, PASSPORTS, VISAS and HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
Plan to check-in at the airport 2 hours before your scheduled International flight time. You must have a valid passport, plus we recommend you bring a photocopy of the photo page of your passport. No visa is required for U.S. citizens, unless you are traveling to Eastern Europe. Non U.S. citizens should check their requirements with the appropriate consulate. Vaccinations are not required for anyone.

INSURANCE
Passengers are strongly advised to purchase a travel protection plan that covers issues that may cause you to miss your trip. Illness, flight delays and various types of unexpected family emergencies can be covered, depending on the plan purchased. You may also select baggage and accident coverage.

Applications are available online at TRAVELGARD.COM and INSUREMYTRIP.COM. Alessio Giannuzzi shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions or conditions outside the travel agent's control.

CANCELLATION PENALITIES
First of all, we recommend travel protection plans. A $500 per person deposit is required to reserve space on the tour. Balance is requested 30 days prior to departure. There is a $250 penalty charge for cancellations 30 days or more prior to departure. Cancellations made 20 days prior to departure will result in the loss of all monies received. There is no refund for leaving a tour early or arriving late. The tour operator reserves the right to cancel any program prior to its start, in which case all monies will be refunded.

BAGGAGE
Please check luggage from your city of origin, through to your final destination. You are limited to a maximum of two suitcases per person. You may also take along one carry-on bag, which must fit under the airline seat. It is advisable to leave your valuables at home.

MONEY EXCHANGE
It is advisable to change $100 into foreign currency at your bank before leaving the USA. This enables you to have cash on hand upon arrival. ATM cards are generally the easiest and best way to obtain local currency. Most credit cards are accepted overseas. Travelers Checks should be preferably exchanged at banks, but also at airports, hotels or in shops.

CLOTHING
Casual, comfortable clothing is suggested. You should bring something that is a bit more dressy for the evenings. For the most part, pack coordinating wearables. We recommend you dress in layers so that you can "rearrange" according to the weather of the moment. Don't forget comfortable walking shoes. A bathing suit may come in handy. Bring less clothing and more money.

ELECTRICAL CURRENT, FILM
If you are taking a hair dryer, electric razor, or any appliance that requires electrical current, it will be necessary to bring an adapter and converter. You can find converters at luggage and hardware stores. Voltage in Europe varies - it may be 220 or 115. Bring plenty of film and extra camera batteries.

DUTY FREE
Allowance into the USA IS $800 and 1 quart of alcohol per person.

GRATUITIES
We recommend $3 - $5 per person per day for baggage handling, dining room staff, bus drivers, tour manager, local guides, and chambermaids, depending on their service. In Italy, most restaurants bills do not include tips, but many include a cover charge. A 10% tip is appropriate.
